Honestly, the place isn't ugly or poorly presented, but I'm giving it 3 stars for the ambiance because they sat us at a round table all close together, and since there were 8 of us, we were cramped.nnOkay, now about the food. It was my first time trying FoWo, and I honestly didn't like it. For starters, the waiter didn't bring everything we had marked on the order sheet. Then, the fish they use is basa, which is cheap and has a bad reputation for how it's raised (with risks of contamination and all).nnPlus, since everything is boiled, the flavor practically depends on the sauces you make with peanut butter, soy sauce, chili, hoisin, some vegetables... and that's it. In other words, everything ends up tasting the same.nnAnother unpleasant detail was that the prawns came with the dorsal vein (the intestine), which is unpleasant; it's hard to remove, and they should clean it first. To top it all off, when we put them in the broth, everything got dirty, and when we asked for it to be changed, the waiter just poured water on it, not fresh broth or anything.nnIn short, several details like this made it not a good experience.

This place rocks! They got the lazy Susan and all! Everything we ate was delicious and the service was lovely! The dumplings are huge and great. The kids loved it. We loved it. I will for sure be back again and again!

It's not delicious, and it's not proportional to the price. You expect great chifa, but you can find better ones for less. It's recommended if you want to surprise someone in a somewhat ostentatious place, but the flavor of the food isn't amazing.
